I have been described as a “colorist,” meaning simply- I love color! Though I love all the paintings I make, I have a special place in my heart for those with bold colors. I deeply respect artists such as Keiko Tanabe and others who use more muted and softer colors as their main palette, with color being the accent. I love these, and I also paint some in this mode, but feel most at home with lot’s of color.
